Hank
Avie
I co-own both Hank and Avie, having selected them as pups as potential future breeding stock. Each of them went to live with long time Quartermoon families where we knew they would get good training and lots of hunting. It’s important that every individual in a pedigree have the natural abilities that make for an outstanding family hunting companion.
Avie is Cindy’s fifth Quartermoon. While each is an individual, there is one common denominator - the love of hunting! Avie has been easy to train, a real “team player”. She marks well, handles nicely and can track any running rooster & bring him home! At home, she is "both fun, heartwarming & entertaining.” This is Avie’s second litter; pups from her first are awesome!
Hank belongs to Kevin Roth, who grew up with Quartermoons. The Roth family got their first in 1982; most of the current Quartermoons are descended from that first one, Dakota. Hank has all the traits we look for in a top hunting dog: small, muscular, great nose, natural quartering & a solid retriever. He is also very sweet with Kevin & Allie’s baby, June.
We are expecting exceptional pups who will be perfect family members & hunting companions.
